THE VISION
“And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.” - Acts 2:42
The Men’s Ministry is dedicated to strengthening, equipping, and building up men through Bible study, fellowship, and prayer. God has called men to lead in families, churches, businesses, and communities. When men don’t lead, these key social institutions grow weak and die. When Paul wrote to the Corinthian church, he said, “Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong” (1 Corinthians 16:13). The words translated “be brave” are literally “be men” in Greek. The same is true today. Godly, biblically mature, and brave men are essential to the health of families, churches, businesses, communities, and nations. Our aim therefore is to come together as men to mutually strengthen one another to reach our full potential in Christ and to lead as servants of Jesus.

Becoming a Volunteer
It is required that all volunteers do the following before serving:
- Complete the Distinctive Classes
- Submit a ministry application
- Complete a background check (18+)
Areas to Serve
- Set up crew
- Tear down crew
- Small Group Leaders and Assistants
- Worship Leaders
The Specifics
- Show up to the Men’s Ministry each week
- Connect with the other men regularly
- Attend all special Men’s Ministry events
- Small Group and Worship Leaders: attend regular monthly meetings with Pastor Doug
Qualifications
- Love Jesus
- Love others
- Mature Christian men with the character qualifications found in 1 Timothy 3:8-13
