I am so excited that there is so much going on for the students in the coming months, and these are great opportunities for the students to get involved and fellowship with other kids their age. Then on June 20th there is a Movie night for the students in the main sanctuary. Since the students have graduated out of being able to attend VBS I wanted to put together a simple event for the students to have fun and fellowship together. We will be watching Spiderman Into the Spiderverse, and we will have dinner, snacks, and drinks provided. 

We are going to Summer Camp at Mile High Pines in Angelus Oaks (where we had our winter camp). This will be 4 days of fun, fellowship, and growing in the Word of God as this year’s theme is “Good Plans”.  Camp is always a great opportunity for the students to make lasting friendships , and grow in their faith. There will be a snack bar, game room, and tons of activities for the students. Sign ups are open now.

On Friday June 8th we are doing something really fun for our 8th graders that are going into 9th grade in the fall. We want to spend time with them one last time while also finding ways to get them plugged into the High school Ministry.  We will have all the details available soon :)

Reliance Church is hosting Reason & Rhythm, a Youth Apologetics Conference for Jr High and High Schoolers. This conference is designed to help equip students to answer life's biggest questions and help them grow deeper in their faith.

This year's theme is "Everyday Apologetics." While apologetics helps students understand why they believe what they believe, connecting the dots between the intellectual and the practical can be difficult.

The sessions & workshops will be centered on providing tools and equipping students to take apologetics into the daily lives to counter the age of secularism and culture.
