“God’s DiVine Design”

The prayer is that we, as a women’s ministry, grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Growth is the natural result of coming together in fellowship centered on His Word. But this involves so much more than studying books of the Bible to gain “head knowledge,” because to grow in our relationship with Jesus, we must allow His Spirit to work in and through us as we abide in Him. As we do, He gives us the grace to be the women – wives, mothers, daughters, sisters, friends, mentors – He designed us to be. 

It is true that we will face trials, temptations, and be challenged by the pressures from society to conform to the world’s standards. But God made our calling so simple. Titus 2:1-6 outlines God’s design for women, how we are to glorify Him with our lives “But as for you, …be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things… admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the Word of God may not be blasphemed.”

I pray God pours out His abundant blessings as you abide in His presence. That you find comfort, courage, strength, power, and peace as you spend time with Him, getting to know Him, becoming more like Him. May your life be seasoned with His Grace as you “Taste and see that the Lord is good…” Psalm 34:8

Women’s Bible Study

• Thursdays at 9:15 am (childcare) and 7:00 pm (no childcare)

Mommy & Me Playgroup

• An opportunity for moms with toddlers to gather for fellowship while the kids play and enjoy various activities throughout the year.
• Meets every Tuesday at various locations.

Arise – Widows Encouraging Widows

• An opportunity for widows to come together for spiritual and emotional support, encouragement and fellowship through a variety of events.
• Meets monthly at various locations.

Special Events

• The Women’s Ministry hosts various special events for women throughout the year where ladies are encouraged to invite friends, neighbors or family members and especially the young women in our lives.

Women’s Intercessory Prayer

• Meet’s every Tuesday at 9:30 AM in the Potter’s House to pray for the needs of the women and their families and to send notes of encouragement to those who are hurting.

Women to Women

• A 10 week, personal women’s discipleship Bible study using Touched and Transformed written by Sally Van Wick. This is designed to help those who struggle with any sort of past abuse, trauma, sin, or relational problems.

Opportunities for Women

• There are not only opportunities to attend the various studies and events, but also an opportunity to serve God’s people in various ways. Be sure to attend the Distinctives Class and see if the Lord would have you get involved in the Women’s Ministry!
