The Anchor
This hope we have as an anchor of the soul,
both sure and steadfast…
Hebrew 6:19
Calvary Chapel Bible Fellowship’s Special Needs Ministry (The Anchor) has birthed out of a heart to come alongside the families God has brought to CCBF. At this time we are not able to meet the needs of the community at large. We are prayerfully looking for personal aides (buddy’s) that have a heart to serve one-on-one within the ministry. Unfortunately, at this time we are limited to inclusion within the Children’s ministry classes, so if the child is unable to engage in a regular classroom setting with a one-on-one personal aid (buddy) helping them we may not be able to accommodate their particular needs. Our heart is for the special needs families. We personally know how difficult this can be as my wife was unable to sit in the sanctuary for the first 5 years of our son’s life do to the unavailability of a special needs ministry.
As of now we only have buddy’s available for our Sunday 3rd service but are prayerful that God will raise up more.
If you are looking to get involved with The Anchor Ministry, you are required to go through the 10 week Distinctives class, which is held 3 times a year at 6:30 PM on Sunday evenings. Once the Distinctive class is completed, you will be able to fill out a Children’s Ministry volunteer application and will be asked to complete a Live Scan background check. We understand this is a bit of a lengthy process, but it is utmost priority to protect all of God’s little lambs.
For parents and families of special needs children to get a undistracted time to receive a solid Bible teaching, being refreshed, refilled and equipped by the power of God to handle the difficult days at hand.
To have these children integrated through the buddy system within the children’s ministry classroom setting.
That our special needs children will be safe, loved and taught at their appropriate age and/or ability level.
Each special needs child to have a one-on-one personal aide (Buddy’s) with the goal of weaning them off their buddy to integrate them into their ‘ability appropriate’ class.
Provide Adult and Youth Opportunities to serve; Sunday AM & or PM, Wednesday Nights, and Friday Nights
A Heart To Serve. Love for all of God’s children. Patience. Prior experience is always a blessing
Statistics show that marriages are negatively affected by the constant demands of caring for special needs children. Our desire is to provide a loving environment for families to be able to come and set aside the cares of the day, to be able to trust that their children are being cared for and even taught the Bible at their own level to enable parents to share in worshipping together in a church service. We would like to thank each and every person that steps out to minister to these families, you are making a difference in the lives of God’s people.
“But when Jesus saw it, He was greatly displeased and said to them,
‘Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God.’”
Mark 10:14

This ministry is open to men, women, and teens who desire to serve the Lord through cleaning and maintenance of the church campus.
The Cleaning Ministry is considered to be a very important area of service. When we consider that the purpose of any ministry is to bring glory and honor to God, it is our heart’s desire give Him our best. We want this facility to be a blessing to God and to all who worship and learn here.
Serving in this ministry also provides an opportunity to fellowship with others as well as with the Lord while providing a tangible service.

Explain the basic beliefs of Calvary Chapel Bible Fellowship before we step out to serve in a ministry at the church. “Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?” Amos 3:3.
Expose us to the many ministries and opportunities in the church where we can step out and get involved.
Encourage us to be a part of the ministries by sharing the heart behind the various ministries in the church.
The evangelism ministry teaches believers how to share their faith biblically.
and provides opportunities to do so through evangelism booths, handing out tracks, one on one evangelism (family, friends, coworkers, or people on the street), or open air preaching.
Our desire is to inspire and equipped all believers to fulfill the “Great Commission.” Romans 10:13-15 “For ‘whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. ‘How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who preach [Harold] the gospel of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!'”
Witnessing events/opportunities will be posted as they occur.

“Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit [who is] in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? . For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.” 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 The vision of the CCBF High School Ministry is “to know Him and to make Him known.” The cornerstone of the ministry is the teaching of Scripture, and one of the main objectives of the ministry is to instill a passion for God’s Word in the youth. We seek to create a comfortable, loving environment where young people can come to learn who they are in Christ through Bible study, worship, prayer, and godly, Christ-centered fellowship.

Home Fellowships function under the principles found in Acts 2:42, which means there is time for study of the Word of God, worship, prayer, breaking of bread, and fellowship. They are one of many ministries at CCBF that encourage believers to put the Biblical truths they have been taught into action (2 Timothy 3:16). Home Fellowships teach accountability in Biblical matters and help individuals grow in a deeper relationship with the Lord. As this happens, lives are changed and families learn how to incorporate Biblical principles into their homes.

The Salt and Light Ministry keeps the Church body informed on political issues of spiritual significance that confront our nation today, and offers suggestions on ways to get involved.
The mission of Salt & Light is to educate and equip the Body of Christ to preserve and protect (as salt does) the Christian influence in American culture through informed, Biblically-based citizenship. (Matthew 5:13-16)
To preserve (as salt does) and to protect the Christian Influence in America culture, through informed citizenship. Jesus said, “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.” The Salt and Light ministry of Calvary Chapel Bible Fellowship exists to equip, inform, and exhort the body of Christ to be a light to both culture and government. We exhort the believer to scrutinize the media, the political leaders, and this world through the lens of scripture (John 7:24) and to uphold the standard of biblical faith upon which our nation was founded.
Salt & Light strives to accomplish its mission through concerted action with the leading of the Holy Spirit to (a) pray for our leaders, elected officials, churches and nation; (b) educate the body on legislation and policy initiatives affecting the core Biblical “non-negotiables; (c) motivate the body to take action in the electoral process as responsible Christian citizens; (d) elect public officials and legislation with values reflecting a Biblical world view; and (e) restore our nation to one of Godliness for blessing to, and healing of, our land so that the gospel may be freely proclaimed.
This approach may readily be summarized through the mnemonic
“P-E-T-E-R”:
P…ray
E…ducate
T…ake action
E…lect
R…estore
Importantly, Salt & Light is “apolitical” and non-partisan; rather, it concerns itself and takes action on only those issues affecting the five core Biblical “non-negotiables,” and namely:
* Sanctity of Life
* Traditional Marriage
* Family Values
* Religious Freedom
* Support for Israel

The prayer is that we, as a women’s ministry, grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Growth is the natural result of coming together in fellowship centered on His Word. But this involves so much more than studying books of the Bible to gain “head knowledge,” because to grow in our relationship with Jesus, we must allow His Spirit to work in and through us as we abide in Him. As we do, He gives us the grace to be the women – wives, mothers, daughters, sisters, friends, mentors – He designed us to be.
It is true that we will face trials, temptations, and be challenged by the pressures from society to conform to the world’s standards. But God made our calling so simple. Titus 2:1-6 outlines God’s design for women, how we are to glorify Him with our lives “But as for you, …be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things… admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the Word of God may not be blasphemed.”
I pray God pours out His abundant blessings as you abide in His presence. That you find comfort, courage, strength, power, and peace as you spend time with Him, getting to know Him, becoming more like Him. May your life be seasoned with His Grace as you “Taste and see that the Lord is good…” Psalm 34:8

The Music Ministry exists to help the church express honor and devotion to the Lord in song.
It is an active recognition of the majesty of God and His presence among His people. “Give unto the LORD the glory due to His Name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness,” (Psalm 29:2).
