The Bereavement Ministry is for those who are grieving the death of a loved one. There is encouragement through worship, the study of God’s Word and turning hearts towards heaven.

Schedule: The ministry meets on the second and fourth Monday of each month at 7:00 pm in the Potter’s House.

The Children’s Ministry seeks to provide a safe and secure, age-appropriate environment where our young ones can grow in Christ.

For information concerning our mission, schedule, curriculum, and policies, or to get involved in this ministry, please read this entire page or drop by the Children’s Ministry office in Room 111.

And Christ took a little child and put him in the midst of them; taking him in His arms, He said to them, “Whoever receives one of these little children in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me, receives not only Me but Him who sent Me.” – Mark 9:36-37

  • We desire to see each child come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior at an early age.
  • We desire for every teacher to be led by the Holy Spirit and to see the evidence of this in the love shown toward the children in each of the classrooms.
  • We desire in each of the classrooms for there to be a time of age appropriate worship, prayer, and a time to learn what the Lord would have them to know from God’s Word, and then respond to Him.
  • We desire for each teacher to be a model of what a Christian man or woman should be.

” …Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to Me and do not forbid them, for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” – Matthew 19:13-14

  • It is the purpose of the Children’s Ministry to provide each child with a safe atmosphere to grow into the image of Christ.
  • We believe the Holy Spirit will complete His work with or without us.
  • We long to see in each child, the fruit of a hungry and thirsty spirit for the things of God; a desire to share Christ with others, and humble submissive hearts toward God as He works.
  • We believe Spirit-filled worship and teaching covered with love and genuine interest in the children will form this atmosphere.
  • We are more concerned about each child’s personal relationship with our Savior Jesus Christ and the depth of that relationship, than the social relationships offered through functions.
  • We want our teachers to model the Christian life for the students to follow.

“…from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.” – 2 Timothy 3:15

This ministry is open to men, women, and teens who desire to serve the Lord through cleaning and maintenance of the church campus.

The Vision

The Cleaning Ministry is considered to be a very important area of service.  When we consider that the purpose of any ministry is to bring glory and honor to God, it is our heart’s desire give Him our best.  We want this facility to be a blessing to God and to all who worship and learn here.

Serving in this ministry also provides an opportunity to fellowship with others as well as with the Lord while providing a tangible service.

When visitors and regular attendees come to this church and see a clean and tidy facility, they are aware that we pay attention to details.  The Cleaning Ministry ensures that our church is clean, organized and a welcoming location to hear the teaching of God’s Word.

Discipleship Audio Archive

The Discipleship Classes are meant to:

  • Plant us – By teaching in depth on specific areas of Biblical learning. It is so important to study the Word of God.“Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” – II Timothy 2:15.
  • Please God – If we want to get a ‘good grade’ in school – we study. A teacher is not going to ‘approve’ if we are always goofing off. In the same way, we show we are serious about our faith in God by studying the Word!
  • Prepare us – So we are not ashamed. We labor in the Word – because we never know when we might have an opportunity to share the Gospel. Not that God needs us to have a degree – but it is certainly to our advantage to be students of the Word!

For more information contact the church at 951-699-9207.

Explain the basic beliefs of Calvary Chapel Bible Fellowship before we step out to serve in a ministry at the church. “Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?” Amos 3:3.

The evangelism ministry teaches believers how to share their faith biblically.

and provides opportunities to do so through evangelism booths, handing out tracks, one on one evangelism (family, friends, coworkers, or people on the street), or open air preaching.

Our desire is to inspire and equipped all believers to fulfill the “Great Commission.” Romans 10:13-15 “For ‘whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. ‘How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who preach [Harold] the gospel of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!'”

Witnessing events/opportunities will be posted as they occur.

The Helps Ministry seeks to show God’s love by meeting the basic physical needs of the people.

This could mean help with food, finances, chaplaincy, rides, home/hospital/prison visitations, sending cards, communion, home and auto repairs, cleaning, landscape, prayer, etc.

Home Fellowships

The focus of all home fellowship weekly meetings is prayer, worship, and in-depth study of the Word. Home fellowships are a great way for believers to build strong relationships with other believers in a more intimate setting.

The Vision

Home Fellowships function under the principles found in Acts 2:42, which means there is time for study of the Word of God, worship, prayer, breaking of bread, and fellowship. They are one of many ministries at CCBF that encourage believers to put the Biblical truths they have been taught into action (2 Timothy 3:16). Home Fellowships teach accountability in Biblical matters and help individuals grow in a deeper relationship with the Lord. As this happens, lives are changed and families learn how to incorporate Biblical principles into their homes.

Jail Ministry

This is a Christ-based ministry for adult males to minister to inmates at the Southwest Riverside County Detention Center on Auld Road in Murrieta.

By God’s grace, we fellowship and teach the Word of God.  We are as blessed as the inmates, as we get to see God’s magnificent Hand at work in the lives of these men.

This ministry is about helping to make disciples out of the inmates.

  • We teach the Word of God to help them to get their eyes on Jesus Christ so they can establish a close, personal relationship with Him above all else.
  • We help them to develop the habits and discipline necessary to keep their eyes on Him wherever they go in life.

Every Tuesday and or Friday night from 7 to 9 pm.

Men’s Ministry

Ministering to Men

The Men’s Ministry not only provides a time when men can come together to be encouraged and built up through the Word, but also great opportunities to serve His people.

The focus of the Missions Ministry is church planting and making disciples for Jesus.

The Music Ministry exists to help the church express honor and devotion to the Lord in song.

It is an active recognition of the majesty of God and His presence among His people. “Give unto the LORD the glory due to His Name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness,” (Psalm 29:2).

Those who participate in the Prayer Ministry come together to pray for the needs of the body.

The Schedule

Sunday Mornings at 7:15 am in the Conference Room

Sunday Nights at 5:30 pm in Room 139

Wednesday Nights at 6:00 pm in Room 139

Salt and Light

The Salt and Light Ministry keeps the Church body informed on political issues of spiritual significance that confront our nation today, and offers suggestions on ways to get involved.

The mission of Salt & Light is to educate and equip the Body of Christ to preserve and protect (as salt does) the Christian influence in American culture through informed, Biblically-based citizenship. (Matthew 5:13-16)

To preserve (as salt does) and to protect the Christian Influence in America culture, through informed citizenship. Jesus said, “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.” The Salt and Light ministry of Calvary Chapel Bible Fellowship exists to equip, inform, and exhort the body of Christ to be a light to both culture and government. We exhort the believer to scrutinize the media, the political leaders, and this world through the lens of scripture (John 7:24) and to uphold the standard of biblical faith upon which our nation was founded.

Salt & Light strives to accomplish its mission through concerted action with the leading of the Holy Spirit to (a) pray for our leaders, elected officials, churches and nation; (b) educate the body on legislation and policy initiatives affecting the core Biblical “non-negotiables; (c) motivate the body to take action in the electoral process as responsible Christian citizens; (d) elect public officials and legislation with values reflecting a Biblical world view; and (e) restore our nation to one of Godliness for blessing to, and healing of, our land so that the gospel may be freely proclaimed.

This approach may readily be summarized through the mnemonic
T…ake action

Importantly, Salt & Light is “apolitical” and non-partisan; rather, it concerns itself and takes action on only those issues affecting the five core Biblical “non-negotiables,” and namely:

* Sanctity of Life
* Traditional Marriage
* Family Values
* Religious Freedom
* Support for Israel

“Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit [who is] in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? . For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.” 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 The vision of the CCBF High School Ministry is “to know Him and to make Him known.” The cornerstone of the ministry is the teaching of Scripture, and one of the main objectives of the ministry is to instill a passion for God’s Word in the youth. We seek to create a comfortable, loving environment where young people can come to learn who they are in Christ through Bible study, worship, prayer, and godly, Christ-centered fellowship.
