After salvation, Tom’s greatest gift was his wife, Marian. They both grew up in Berkeley, California. They met July 12, 1953. Marian turned 18 on September 2nd, and they got married September 26th. God is so faithful. Tom had been praying for a Genesis 2:18 bride since January 1953.
Tom, Marian, and their eight year old daughter moved to Hawaii in 1966. Tom taught at Punahou School from their arrival in Honolulu until 1992. As an assisting pastor, Tom also ministered with Pastor Bill Stonebraker at Calvary Chapel Honolulu, and directed the Calvary Chapel Bible College in Honolulu.
Tom first met Pastor Chuck Smith in the 1970s. He was blessed to travel with Chuck on many pilgrim group tours to Israel as an assisting pastor. In 1995, Pastor Chuck asked Tom to come teach at the Calvary Chapel Bible College in Murrieta. One day, Pastor Tom saw a fellow standing by a red truck next to the building. Tom did not know him but felt drawn to him. That was the first time Clark and Tom met. They shared visions, and shortly after, Calvary Chapel Bible Fellowship began using the Murrieta Hot Springs location. To this day, Tom has experienced great joy while assisting Pastor Clark in the ministry.
God is so good. It seems all our prayers, in His will, are faithfully answered. May our God continue to satisfy your needs.
