Clark Van Wick grew up in Orange County, California. Although he received salvation as a young boy, it was not until 1982 when he truly began living for the Lord. It was also at this time when he met and married his wife, Sally. Clark and Sally became part of the fellowship at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa, where they grew in the Lord, and began serving in the Children’s Ministry. In 1989, Clark, Sally, and their two sons moved from Orange County to Temecula, where the Lord put it on Clark’s heart to attend Bible College in Vista. Simultaneously, the Lord opened the door for Clark to lead a home Bible study. It began as a small group of people meeting to study the Word, and share Christ’s love with one another. However, within a year, the once small group had grown substantially, and group members asked Clark to change the meeting day to Sunday, and become their pastor. This was the most humbling experience of Clark’s life, but he accepted, knowing this is where the Lord called him. Shortly thereafter, the property for Calvary Chapel Bible Fellowship was purchased in Temecula Wine Country, where the congregation meets today. Aside from pastoring the Bible fellowship, Clark is also an instructor at the Calvary Chapel Bible College in Murrieta, California, and often speaks at conferences, events, and retreats. Clark has a passion for Israel, and leads a group of pastors and congregation members through a Biblical tour of the Holy Land twice a year. In his spare time, Clark enjoys studying the Word, surfing, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Sally Van Wick accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior in 1976 at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa where she and her husband began serving in ministry in 1984. She is currently the Director of Women’s Ministries at Calvary Chapel Bible Fellowship where her husband, Clark Van Wick, has served as Senior Pastor since 1996.
In addition to writing Bible studies, Sally teaches the women’s weekly Bible study at her home church. Sally has traveled the world to speak at various Christian women’s retreats and events. She is a speaker at the When Leaders Lead Women’s Conference in Murrieta, California and has spoken at the Calvary Chapel West Coast Pastor’s Wives Retreat. She has also lead pastors’ wives and women’s leaders on Biblical tours of Israel.
Sally is passionate about the Word of God and considers it a privileged calling to teach women how to study the Bible and grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, always pointing others to Jesus.
In her spare time, Sally is dedicated spending time with her family. Pastor Clark and Sally have been married since 1982 and are the parents of two men, both of whom are married to beautiful young women. Sally has three grandchildren who are truly the greatest joys in her life.
David Hinchey got saved in 1991 with a heart for missions. Romans 15:22 was the verse the Lord gave stirring him to become a missionary. He became the missions Pastor of Calvary Chapel Bible Fellowship in 2000 and served there for 8 years, after which he was sent out to be a missionary in the Philippines.
While there he married his wife Jen in 2008, and by the Grace of God together they planted ‘Simbahan sa Bukid’ or ‘Church on the Mountain’. For six years David and Jen served there raising up a group of Godly men who became the Pastors and Bible study teachers in the church.
In March of 2014 the church was transitioned to the guys who were raised up and the Lord opened the door again for David and Jen to serve here at Calvary Chapel Bible Fellowship.
Children's Ministry Pastor
Pastor Dave accepted Jesus as his Savior at the age of ten at an Assembly of God church in La Mesa California. He became heavily involved in youth groups, and throughout high school was greatly influenced by his youth pastor’s love for Jesus. Dave realized that there was a calling on his life to serve in youth ministries, although the door was not immediately open.
In his early 20s, Dave asked for God’s direction in his life and prayed specifically for a bride. Two weeks later, he met Heather, and they were married just a few months later in the winter of 1989. They settled in Temecula in 1999, and began attending the Barn in 2000. They were so thankful to finally be under the teaching of the Word. At this time, God lead them to volunteer in the Children’s Ministry where they taught Sunday School for the 3-5 year olds. In 2002, they began serving in the Junior High Ministry. In July 2008, Pastor Dave was ordained a minister and began serving full-time in the Youth Ministry.
Men's Ministry Pastor/ Facility
After moving to the area in 1976, I met my bride to be, Mena, and we were married in 1982. “It is not good for the man to be alone I will make a helper suitable for him.” Soon after, we both surrendered our lives to Christ, “confessing with our mouth and believing in our heart that God has raised Jesus from the dead” we then started serving the LORD in different ministries together throughout the years. I can’t believe how good our life together has been, but then God said it best ….. “Look at the nations and watch—and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told.” Habakkuk 1:5
Nick grew up in Helena, Montana. He was blessed to grow up in a solid Christian home and was involved with the church from an early age. He has spent the last eight years as an active duty military member, which has offered the opportunity to be a part of various church bodies around the world.
He began attending Calvary Chapel Bible Fellowship upon being transferred to Camp Pendleton in 2015; in 2016, he was blessed with the opportunity to minister to the saints at the Barn through the worship ministry.
“God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” John 4:24
Frank grew up in Honolulu, Hawaii but was raised mostly in Northern California, as his father serviced in the armed forces and would move frequently. His family started to walk with the Lord in his early childhood years so he knew the Lord at an early age. He didn’t profess Jesus as his Savior until one summer night at the end of Vacation Bible School. Since then the Lord has blessed him and guided him to his current church family in Temecula where he has the honor of serving and attending along side fellow believers at Calvary Chapel Bible Fellowship.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6
High School Pastor
Anthony and Christine both grew up not knowing the Lord. It wasn’t until Anthony was invited to a Christian camp in 2012, when he was 21 years old, that he gave his life to the Lord. From then on Anthony grew to have a love for the Lord and His Word. Anthony and Christine met at the end of 2012 it was then that Anthony shared Jesus with Christine and she accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior. Soon after, both enrolled in Bible college at Liberty University. From then on they grew in the Lord together and were married in 2015. They have three children: Alina, Emma, and Jonah.
Ever since they were saved, the Lord put the youth on their hearts to serve them and show them the love of Christ. After attending several churches in the Temecula Valley area, the Lord brought them to the Barn in 2014. Anthony began serving in the usher ministry until an opportunity opened for him to teach in the high school ministry. We are loving every minute of being able to minister and love on the youth here at the Barn.
“Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.” (Philippians 2:3)
Jr. High Pastor
Jeremy grew up believing in Jesus when he was young but it wasn’t until his family started attending the barn in 2008 that he actually started following Jesus and entered into a deep meaningful relationship with Him. He was also very blessed to be surrounded and impacted by a lot of Godly men in the youth ministry, and now has a heart to make the same impact on this rising generation. Jeremy met his wonderful bride to be, Erica, in 2014 and they were soon wed a couple years later. They both currently serve in Junior High ministry with the hope that the youth will be absolutely committed to Jesus and have the boldness to live out their calling.

Jeff was born and raised in Orange County and moved to Temecula in 1998. He accepted the Lord in 2003 and God led him directly here to the Barn. Jeff immediately started plugging in and serving the Lord Jesus and His people. Andrea was a native to the valley and accepted the Lord in 1997 in her public High School Math class and then shortly after moved with her parents to Lake Havasu City, AZ. After attending Bible College overseas she returned to Lake Havasu. Shortly after she realized there was not a Bible teaching church in the city and felt called in 2003 to move to Temecula to attend the Barn (her grandparents church) to grow in her walk with The Lord.
Jeff & Andrea met here at the Barn in October 2003 and were married May of 2004. They are involved in multiple ministries. They are so grateful for their church family that has continued to come by their side to help raise up Josiah in the Lord. Jeff & Andrea Love loving on the sheep before them and watch them grow in the Lord and answer the call to serve the Lord and His people. There is nothing greater, a Holy privilege to serving and helping the sheep get involved in the different behind the scenes the ministries here at the Barn.
Jeff and Lori were both born and raised in Southern California and have been married for 15 yrs. They have two amazing children, Shannon (19) and Cole (15). Lori was not raised in a Christian home, but God was always faithful to place a believing friend in her life throughout her school-age years. At the age of 15, she attended a Christian concert with a friend and gave her life to Christ. However once leaving home for college after high school, Lori fell away for a time. God was faithful however and pursued her (Luke 15:4-5). Jeff’s testimony is similar in that he came to the Lord when he was in high school but fell away. Neither Jeff nor Lori were walking with the Lord when they married but when their marriage was on the brink of divorce approximately 7 years ago, both began seeking the Lord separately. In His abundant mercy and grace, God repaired their marriage. Today it is the desire of both of their hearts to see others walking in victory in Jesus! Jeff and Lori began attending the Wednesday evening service at the barn so their daughter could get connected in a youth group. It wasn’t long before the barn became home! Lori now serves as the Women’s Ministry Assistant at the barn and Jeff serves in the Children’s ministry teaching the 4th, 5th and 6th graders.
“Nevertheless I am continually with You; You hold me by my right hand, You will guide me with Your counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. Whom have I in heaven but You? And there is none upon earth that I desire besides You. My flesh and my heart fail; but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” ~ Psalm 73:23-26
Karin was born and raised in Sudbury, Massachusetts until she was 13 yrs old when her parents moved the family to Southern California. She has always felt the presence of the Lord but did not really hear about the gospel until 1985 when she attended, a then little church, Calvary Chapel Vista with Senior Pastor Brian Broderson. However, she still had not truly accepted Christ into her life and she moved to Los Angeles and then San Diego to see what life had for her.
In 1991 a co-worker invited her to Horizon Christian Fellowship and that night she joyfully accepted the Lord into her heart and into her life. In 1993 she moved to Minnesota and was there for 4 1/2 years until 1998 when she came back to Southern California, and specifically, to the Temecula Valley. It was then that she met a woman in a doctors office who told her about CCBF and Karin and her family have been attending the Barn ever since. After several years of volunteering in the church office, Karin was graciously offered the opportunity to come on staff in 2013 and serve along side the saints at CCBF. Karin is the blessed mother of two amazing and beautiful daughters, Alexandra and Chloe, which she had the incredible privilege of homeschooling throughout their school years. Both of her daughters love the Lord and are currently attending Christian Universities in Virginia and Minnesota.

Wendell and his wife Kim were married in 1988. They have four children and three grandchildren. Wendell came to faith in Christ in 1992 because his doctor loved him enough to share Jesus with him. Wendell and Kim started attending the Barn in 2001 when they moved here from Orange County. They began serving in the Children’s Ministry shortly after arriving, and are currently blessed to be overseeing the Children’s Ministry. Pastor Charlie and his wife, Gail, grew up in the Fallbrook area, and were married in 1978. The Lord saved them at the same time in July of 1991. They have three married children, Jessica, Dustin, and Kristen, and one grandchild, Jenna Evangeline. Charlie worked for North County Fire for 32 years and retired as Deputy Chief. When the Lord saved Charlie, He gave him a desire to minister to other firefighters.
With encouragement from Pastor Clark, Charlie started a Chaplain program at North County Fire and was privileged to serve as Chaplain from 1994 until he retired from the fire service in 2008. At this time, the Lord gave Charlie and Gail a heart to minister to missionaries. They are honored and blessed to serve along side the saints at the Barn as they oversee missions, address the missionaries’ needs, and experience the joy of sending out those the Lord calls.
