“And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.” Acts 2:42
For many reasons, the early church grew. We see throughout the book of Acts, God’s hand supernaturally shaping His church, and forming His disciples. The Holy Spirit lead the early disciples to gather in prayer and fellowship, break bread, and to hear and follow the apostle’s doctrine. We believe that God is still calling us to these precepts. It is said that Acts 2:42 lists the pillars of the church. In following this example we are forming relationships that will last for eternity, we are seeking the will of the Lord, and we are hearing Him through His word, while we are building up our fellow Christians.
First Wednesday of every month, we have a potluck at 6 pm before the communion service. Apart from the potluck, we have special events such as camping, beach days, baseball games, and more, centered on these four pillars of the church.
