Junior High Pastor
Pastor Dave accepted Jesus as his Savior at the age of ten at an Assembly of God church in La Mesa California. He became heavily involved in youth groups, and throughout high school was greatly influenced by his youth pastor’s love for Jesus. Dave realized that there was a calling on his life to serve in youth ministries, although the door was not immediately open.
In his early 20s, Dave asked for God’s direction in his life and prayed specifically for a bride. Two weeks later, he met Heather, and they were married just a few months later in the winter of 1989. They settled in Temecula in 1999, and began attending the Barn in 2000. They were so thankful to finally be under the teaching of the Word. At this time, God lead them to volunteer in the Children’s Ministry where they taught Sunday School for the 3-5 year olds. In 2002, they began serving in the Junior High Ministry. In July 2008, Pastor Dave was ordained a minister and began serving full-time in the Junior High Ministry. He also leads a local after school Christian Club at Margarita Middle School.
